Sensory Program

Wausau Community Theatre is proud to offer the Sensory Program for the Performing Arts to visually and hearing impaired individuals.

Just watch for the headphone symbol    to identify when this service is available at a Wausau Community Theatre production.  Most commonly this will be a Friday evening performance.

At these designated shows volunteers will provide on-stage tours, braille programs, and audio description during the performance.  Assistive listening equipment can also be provided to the hearing impaired in some performance venues where this service is currently unavailable.

Wausau Community Theatre offers the sensory program to other performing arts organizations for a fee of $50 per performance.  This revenue is used to purchase and maintain the equipment necessary for the program.  To schedule the Sensory Program for the Performing Arts or for more information, contact Wausau Community Theatre at 715-359-3972 or Kent Perrin, the program coordinator, at 715-355-4747.
