Nearly 60 years after its Broadway debut, WEST SIDE STORY remains relevant today.  The modern musical adaptation of “Romeo and Juliet” teaches lessons about prejudice and hatred, immigration, conflicts between gangs and ethnicities, and ultimately, the potential for healing.  The score by Leonard Bernstein and Stephen Sondheim is widely regarded as one of the best ever written.
